Who are Finni & Rudi?
Having come to the Saale as a gift from our Finnish twin city Oulu, Finni & Rudi gave their names to the lovingly illustrated popular characters. Together, the two characters go on a year-round expedition through Halle and experience the city's many highlights. For example, they visit the parade at the "Laternenfest", the numerous animals in the zoo or look down on the city of Halle from space. They are often accompanied on their excursions by tomcat Mika or siblings Little & Big Uli.
The Nordic cloven-hoofed animals are particularly fond of Halle's Christmas markets. They adorn the annual Christmas market mug, which has already become a coveted collector's item. They can also be discovered on one or two gift items in the hallesaale* shop.
