The Halle (Saale) Museum Network was founded in September 2016. It unites 11 museums in Halle with different profiles and different sponsorships: Beatles Museum - Francke Foundations in Halle - ROTER OCHSE Halle (Saale) Memorial - Halloren- und Salinemuseum Halle (currently closed for renovation) - Kunstmuseum Moritzburg Halle (Saale) - Kunstverein "Talstrasse" e. V. - Landesmuseum für Vorgeschichte - Stadtmuseum Halle - Stiftung Händel-Haus - Zentrale Kustodie der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg - Zentralmagazin Naturwissenschaftlicher Sammlungen der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg. The Halle Museum Network sees itself as a platform for Halle's museums to exchange creative ideas and develop joint projects.
The museums united in the Halle Museum Network have been launching a new edition of the "Halle Museums Keychain" campaign since 1 April 2023. The campaign applies to all permanent and special exhibitions at the museums. Visitors will receive a sticker together with their ticket at each museum they visit, which they can stick onto a collector's card with a map of all the museums. Visitors who have visited all ten participating museums and collected their key stickers during the campaign period until 31 March 2024 will receive a "Golden Museum Key", giving them free admission to all museums in the network for one year.
