Aquilonia 2026

The Aquilonia (named after the Roman term for the north-east wind - aquilo) is the annual conference of classical philologists working in the 'new federal states', Berlin, Hamburg and Kiel, which was established in 1996. The conference, the venue of which changes from year to year and will take place in Halle in 2026, serves the personal and academic exchange of the participating institutes and offers young academics in particular a suitable forum for presenting their research.
