The most beautiful views of the cosy banks of the Saale, the imposing bridges and many important buildings can be enjoyed from the water. Motorboats (with or without a licence) or rafts can be hired directly at the Giebichenstein Bridge on the Riveufer for exciting tours on the Saale. The larger rafts offer space for up to 25 people and are ideal for individual excursions and small parties on the water. A skipper can steer the raft on request. The smaller rafts can also be driven without a licence after a short briefing, so that everyone can take the helm.
