Climbing tower Thüringer Bahnhof
An eye-catcher to watch and climb yourself
To the south of Halle's main railway station is the Thüringer Bahnhof, a large green and leisure area in the centre of the city. The 17 metre high climbing tower towers over the area. The tower is designed as a large archway and therefore also offers the opportunity to climb particularly challenging routes. A total of up to 50 different routes are available, which can also be redesigned. IG-Klettern Halle/Löbejün e.V. must be contacted for use. In the immediate vicinity of the tower is the "Bouldercobra", a snake-like rock with many routes for climbing and bouldering with plenty of space, safe jump-off areas and a nice atmosphere. Other climbing facilities such as the Mitropa wall are also in the immediate vicinity.
