DB Museum Halle

Experience the whole world of the railway

DB Museum Halle

Fascinating original vehicles await railway fans of all ages at the DB Museum in Halle (Saale). The exhibition, which is well worth seeing, provides information about the history of the traditional railway town of Halle (Saale) and the old engine shed IV, which now houses the DB Museum. Around 20 historic railway vehicles are on display here, including steam locomotives from the Reichsbahn as well as old electric and diesel locomotives. There is a particular focus on Deutsche Reichsbahn series from the former GDR. Young railway fans will particularly enjoy the large model railway. A digital museum guide can be downloaded via an app and takes visitors on a journey through time.
