The ground of the tent area is meadow.
The pitch is also close to the "Dölauer Heide" city forest. This is ideal for leisurely walks, jogging and cycling. The "Kolkturm" viewing platform in the middle of the forest offers a sweeping view over the city.

The "Lieskau, Ringstraße" and "Lieskauer Straße" bus stops take you to Halle's city centre in 20 minutes on various bus routes.
