Herbert Nouwen "Die Störung"

In his work "The Fault", Herbert Nouwens refers to the geological phenomenon of the Halle fault. - A geological fault in the subsurface that made the extraction of brine in Halle (Saale) possible. The artist wished to be able to present the work permanently in Halle (Saale) and therefore decided to donate the artwork to the city in 2020.
Herbert Nouwens was born in Oegstgeest in the Netherlands in 1954. The internationally renowned metal sculptor, who prefers to work with recycled metal, has already realised works for public spaces in Amsterdam, Utrecht, Lisbon, Bredelar and Celle, among others.
