Lake "Hufeisensee"

The lake "Hufeisensee" actually owes its name to its curved shape - but the "Hufi" still has a few lucky charms in store. Its approximately 6.5 km long shore offers well-frequented bathing spots and sandy beaches as well as natural retreats for reading and relaxing. All around, a circular path invites you to pick flowers, walk or jog, and even skate and cycle on the tarmac promenade. In the neighbouring golf park, however, you can swing a completely different set of irons, even without a licence on the short course. Sports enthusiasts can also cruise across the lake on a SUP, try their hand at water skiing, rowing and sailing or, with a diving licence and an appointment, look out for big pikes at depths of up to 26 metres. Please note: Unfortunately, swimming is not permitted in the Hufi for safety reasons.
