Regional Court of Halle
Walking on spiral steps
Even without an official date, you can make a note of the Halle (Saale) District Court in your diary. The imposing Palace of Justice is always worth a visit. The sandstone façade flanked by two corner towers is enough to amaze anyone passing by. The splendidly decorated entrance provides information about the purpose and completion of the building in large gold letters: "District Court 1905". Anyone who is impressed by these details will be overwhelmed when they look into the star-vaulted domed hall. Here, a spiral staircase adorned with ornate tendrils winds its way up to the upper floors. The spiral staircase can be climbed alone or on a public tour.
Tip: A guided tour of the courthouse gives you exclusive insights and interesting information.
