Saale-Harz cycle path

The approx. 70 km long cycle path connects the Saale cycle path in Halle and the Harz circular route. From Wippra and the Harz circular route, it crosses the district of Mansfelder Land and a short section of the Saale district before joining up with the Saale cycle path in Halle. From the foothills of the Harz Mountains to the Saale Valley, cyclists can expect varied landscapes, waters and forests along the route, as well as idyllic towns with architecture worth seeing, lots of culture and an interesting history. The Süßen See lake or Eisleben with Luther's birthplace are perfect places to stop.
