Transformative practice - science, transfer and structural change in the Central German mining area

The conference will focus on the question of how science can shape structural change together with other stakeholders in the region - i.e. not just observe or contribute ideas to the process, but contribute to the change itself. The conference will bring together stakeholders from science and practice to share initial successes and promising innovations and to identify and tackle future tasks.The conference is being organised by the Institute for Structural Change and Sustainability (HALIS) and Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU) in cooperation with the Ministry of Science, Energy, Climate Protection and the Environment of Saxony-Anhalt.
