At 40,000 pieces, the new 2023 Christmas market collector's mug with Finni and Rudi in front of Giebichenstein Castle is the largest edition to date. The cups will be in circulation when the markets open. They are now available at the Tourist Information Centre with hallesaale* shop (Marktschlösschen, Marktplatz 13) or in the online shop www.hallesaale.shop.
On the 1st & 3rd Sundays in Advent, 3.12. & 17.12.23, Halle's city centre invites you to two open Sundays from 13:00 to 18:00. The Christmas cot on the market square in front of the market church offers a children's programme. From 16:30, you can listen to Christmas stories, readings and small concerts. From 15:00-16:00 there is a Father Christmas consultation hour. In the mornings, after-school children from Halle will perform their Advent singing skills.
On the three Advent weekends, a wintry view of the Christmas markets from the Hausmann Towers is worthwhile:Sat. & Sun.: 2 & 3 Dec. / 9 & 10 Dec. / 16 & 17 Dec. 23 (15:00-19:00).
On all Advent Sundays, the Halle Carilloneurs play a live concert on Europe's largest carillon in the Red Tower at 16:00.
Regional and lovingly crafted works by local designers and artists from Halle can be found at various Advent markets throughout the Advent season: Advent in the Schwemme: 2 & 3.12.23 (14:00-19:00), Christmas market on the BURG design campus: 15-17.12.23 (15:00-21:00) or the last-minute Christmas market in the Moritzburg: 16 & 17.12.23 (13:00-17:00).
