HausmannTowers
From 1 February 2024, the Hausmann Towers will be open at weekends from 10:00 to 15:00 for individual ascents. Throughout the year, interested guests can now climb the 222 steps of the Hausmann Towers every Saturday and Sunday, learn about the history of the towers and their former inhabitants and enjoy the unique view over Halle's old town.Tickets cost 4.00 euros and are available directly at the entrance to the Hausmann Towers of the Marktkirche (Talamtstraße). The "Tower Tour" offers the opportunity to experience Halle's history with a view with a tour guide twice a day from Monday to Friday at 3.00 and 4.00 pm. Tickets are available for 7.00 euros / 5.50 euros reduced online and at Halle's tourist information centre.
Red Tower
The 500-year-old Red Tower, at 84 metres the tallest tower in the Marketplace, invites visitors to climb up to the largest carillon in Europe on Fridays at 17:00 and Saturdays at 14:00 and to visit the exhibition on the architecture of the bourgeois bell tower. Tickets for the Red Tower and Leipzig Tower (6.00 euros / 4.50 euros reduced) are available from the Tourist Information Centre, the City Museum and directly at the tower before the tours start.
LeipzigTower
The Leipzig Tower, one of formerly 40 watchtowers along the city wall, is open for guided tours on Saturdays at 11:00 and 12:00. The medieval, timbered steps are an experience in themselves and provide an immediate introduction to the exhibition on the "Carpentry Skills of the 15th Century". Tickets for the Red Tower and Leipzig Tower (6.00 euros / 4.50 euros reduced) are available from the Tourist Information Centre, the City Museum and directly at the tower before the start of the tours.
