The Fête de la Musique is a worldwide music festival that was launched in France in 1982 and has since become a global phenomenon. Every year at the beginning of summer on June 21, the day of music and musical diversity is also celebrated in Halle (Saale). There will be street music and stages throughout the city as well as live music on the Peißnitz, from the banks of the Rieve to the creative and cultural venue of the Schwemme brewery.
