Film series "WTF is Halle?"

4 neighbourhood clips about Halle and the "Sound of Halle"

"This is my home, this is my city! Got everything I need, awake by starlight. This is my home! My city! I enjoy the night and I'll never get tired of it!" is the refrain of the new "Sound of Halle", which was created as part of the four-part film series "WTF is Halle?". The aim of the neighbourhood clips is to convey the charm of Halle to young people, to arouse their interest in training or studying in Halle and, at the same time, to create an identity for Halle residents with their own city. The title of the series is deliberately provocative with the question: What the Fuck is Halle? Because many people simply don't know the city yet. Young Halle neighbourhood connoisseurs go on a very personal neighbourhood tour with their guests, to whom Halle is still unknown, each with a small task.

The best skate spots in Halle are tested in the clip "Home is where the board is", places to relax are sought in the film "Wie hart kann man chillen", how colourful Halle is with "Hier war Bansky noch nie!" and finally the question of what Halle sounds like is answered with "Der Sound of Halle".

The films can be viewed on the YouTube channel DeinHalle and on the homepage www.deinhalle.de. The Halle sound is listed on the music platform "Spotify" (playlist Dein Halle-Sound of Halle) and can also be easily integrated on Instagram and TikTok.

Anyone who can identify with the new neighbourhood clips about Halle is expressly and cordially invited to share, integrate and show them to others. If you are interested, please contact Stadtmarketing Halle (Saale) GmbH: standortmarketing@stadtmarketing-halle.de

The film series with trailer and Halle soundtrack is part of the "Dein Halle" campaign by Stadtmarketing Halle (Saale) GmbH in cooperation with Martin Luther University Halle-Saale, with the aim of promoting Halle as an attractive place to train and study as well as a worthwhile city break destination for young travellers. The clips were created with Halle-based performers from the cultural, music and sports scene and the Halle-based film collective "nifilm - neue ideen film".
