4th National Conference on Infectious Disease Modeling
20 – 22 May 2026 in Halle (Saale)
The Modeling Network for Severe Infectious Diseases (MONID) is a research network funded by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR). The network aims to strengthen interdisciplinary exchange between leading scientists in this field, as well as to promote young researchers in order to sustainably advance modelling expertise in Germany.
The intention of this year's meeting is to promote international and national networking. There will be parallel sessions and mini-symposia on various key topics, providing opportunities to exchange insights with renowned experts in mathematical modelling of severe infectious diseases and related disciplines.
We will also be hosting a Pre-Conference Workshop for some hands-on experience in modelling on the 19th of May 2026.
