Camping in Halle

Sharing makes you happy

Anyone who has a secluded spot in their own garden, a cozy little meadow or another site such as a parking lot and would be willing to share it is in demand here. We are looking for interested landowners in Halle and the surrounding area who are willing to make their free spaces available to campers who are keen to explore. Whether for a few weekends a year or permanently, a free space for a caravan or just a tent - any space is welcome. In this way, visitors to Halle can make use of alternative accommodation options and discover the city from a different perspective. Meeting new people, making travel friends and showing Halle visitors the most beautiful spots in the city - participating as a host has many advantages.

Host Anke Dehn

Host Susanne Kost

1. would you like to briefly introduce yourself?
"My name is Susanne Kost, I'm 50 years old. Five of us live here at home in Lieskau. We have lots of pets and enjoy working in the garden."

2. how do you prefer to go on vacation yourself?
"We got ourselves a VW bus last year. Otherwise we travel with a tent. Now we often take the bus to the surrounding area at the weekend, e.g. to the Saalekreis, Mansfelder Land or Burgenlandkreis."

3. what made you decide to take part in the "Camping in Halle" project?
"When I heard about it, I just loved the idea and it immediately gave me such a warm feeling - the idea that people might be like us, like to travel and want to explore new places on short trips. Offering them the opportunity to provide accommodation in a completely relaxed and uncomplicated way was the driving force, so to speak. In a second step, we might be able to use such an offer elsewhere at some point, if it's available."
