Art Gallery "Talstrasse"
A home for contemporary art
The Kunstverein "Talstrasse" e. V. is now one of the largest art associations in Central Germany. But how did it all begin? Nine graduates of the Giebichenstein Castle art academy founded the "Talstrasse" art association in 1991. Three years later, Talstrasse 23 with its fine, late classicist villa at the foot of a rocky plateau became the new home of the creative community. Over the years, this studio house has become a stylish space for creativity, exchange and encounters. A fascinating sculpture park on the hillside is just as much a part of it as the changing exhibitions that showcase the diversity of contemporary art.
