Art City Map "Route 8"

On eight routes, 130 works of art can be explored using art city maps around Halle (Saale). These range from sculptures to murals, from installations to fountain designs. This gives everyone the opportunity to discover the city and its art at their own pace. The texts also provide interesting information about Halle's city and architectural history.

Route 8 of the "Art City Plans" is a foray through the southern district of Halle - the Silberhöhe. This district was only founded in 1979 and has been struggling with vacancy and migration since the political turnaround. Shrinkage as an opportunity: deconstruction created the "Waldstadt" with space for greenery and art.
