Petersberg
Get up high and enjoy the view
Historic monastery, zoo and summer toboggan run: there is something for everyone on the Petersberg site. There is a large public car park at the foot of the 250-metre-high mountain, which is the starting point. The nearby 1.5-hectare mountain animal park is a great destination for families. One of the highlights are the white polar wolves that can be marvelled at in the nature park. For sporting activities, there is the summer toboggan run, where the little ones can race downhill. For those with strong nerves, the high ropes course with a height of up to 7.40 metres promises fun. Those interested in history and culture should visit the Petersberg Museum or the collegiate church of St Peter, whose monastery is looked after by brothers of the Brotherhood of Christ.
