Swimming pool with historic Art Nouveau ambience
The municipal baths in Halle (Saale) were built between 1913 and 1915 and opened in 1916. Since 1995, the façade has been restored to its former splendour. A particular eye-catcher of the historic swimming pool are the tiles and architectural ceramics with decorations from the Art Nouveau era that decorate the interior. The baths are now used as a swimming pool. It has a large pool with a 25 metre lane length and a small round pool (approx. 29 to 30 °C). With its central location near the Steintor, it is easy to reach by public transport.
