Steintor-Varieté Halle
One of the oldest and most attractive venues in Halle
The Steintorvarieté is one of the oldest and most traditional revue and variety theatres in Germany. The lively history of the theatre dates back to 1868 and originated from a riding hall belonging to the horse dealer Lözius, where the first attractions were presented. Later, as the "Walhalla-Varieté", operetta productions were added to the variety programmes. Used in the meantime as a cinema and wrestling arena, variety shows were gradually presented again and to this day artistic performances, humour, dance, popular music, jazz and international stars provide variety. The programme listed here is broadly diversified and ranges from rock concerts to comedy and dance events.
