Bootsschenke Marie-Hedwig
In summer, the Marie-Hedwig starts up the galley again. With more than a hundred years at the helm, the iron barge had already conquered a few waters before retiring to the banks of the Rive in 1994. Today, the boat pub welcomes hungry travellers on deck - or in the weatherproof sailor's parlour. It serves hearty meals ranging from solyanka and spiced meat to Bismarck rolls, home-style classics such as brawn, pork goulash and farmer's breakfast or, in keeping with the riverside setting, fish such as trout Müllerin style. Windbags, ice cream and cake are also delicious with coffee. And when other boats sail past, don't forget to wave. Ahoy!
